Shree Bhagwan Roy was born in the year 1945 in a humble Yadav family in a small village called “Babu ka Dera” in the Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh, India. His father Late Shri Ramanand Rai and mother Late Smt. Tara Devi Rai brought him to Kolkata (erstwhile, Calcutta), where his father worked in the Kesoram Cotton Mills. He is the eldest son in his family and he grew up with 2 brothers. Munna- Krishna Kumar, Dadan- Sushil Kumar and Kamla, Bilma and. Baby-Sushila his sisters. He married Parvati in 1974 and have two daughters, Archika, Adwitiya and a son, Sarvashish. Parvati has been a humble housewife and devoted her entire life in raising the children and supporting her husband at the family front. She had been one of the founder of IBRAD and a member of the governing Board of IBRAD, where she renders her services as and when required. Archika married Manish Kumar and she is settled in Noida. She has two sons, Aman and Vihaan. Archika works for a multinational IT company as a Director and manages the hospital information management system portfolio of the company and Manish is incubating his start-up company providing technological solutions on BIM platform so several European and middle east clients.
Adwitiya married Brajesh Ranjan and she is settled in Patna. She is also having two children Arya and Prakriti. She is into the noble profession of teaching in a convent school where she shapes young minds to be future leaders. Her husband, Brajesh works for a private company as a Zonal Sales Head. Sarvashish married Dr Anshu Singh and have 2 kids, Saransh and Shreyasi and is settled with the parents in Kolkata. His wife, Dr Anshu Singh is Assistant Professor in the central university of Bilaspur, while he works for a private bank in Kolkata as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) professionals.
His brother Krishna Kumar married Manju and are blessed with a son Rohan and a daughter, Maitreyi Roy. Krishnakumar is a Chemical Engineer and is settled with his son in Surat. He is currently, actively support teaching and helping young students in achieving their aspirations. His son, Rohan is also a coach by profession, has co-founded the award-winning Balaji classes and Canopus International School along with his wife Foram. The younger brother Shri Sushil Kumar is a social worker and is helping farmers to organize in FPOs for organic farming and doubling farmers’ income in Ballia, U.P. He married Usha and has a son Deepak who is a sport enthusiast and works as a Manager is a cricket club in Mumbai.
Kamala the eldest sister, a retired teacher is settled in Port Blair. She was married to Late Shri Nandalal Yadav and raised her three kids, Shweta, Abhishek and Abhijit on her own. All her children are married. The eldest daughter Shweta married Chandrakeh Yadav. She has two sons, Pratik and Arpit. The youngest son Abhijit married Anita and is blessed with a son Prathamesh. Both of them are settled in Port Blair. Abhishek married Shalini and have two children and they are settled in Bangalore. Bimla the second sister, married Rajendra Yadav, a mechanical engineer by profession who retired from an automobile manufacturing company and are now settled in West Bengal. She has three children Neha, Richa and Aditya. All of them are married and settled in US, except the youngest son, Aditya who lives in Pune with his wife Moonmoon. Sushila Yadav, the youngest sister married Dr Madanmohan Yadav and has three children – Om Hari, Minu and Sharad Mohan.
